At White Knuckle Knives, every blade that leaves my workshop in Maryborough, QLD is made with care and craftsmanship. I want to make sure it reaches you in the same spirit — safely, and with as little fuss as possible. Here's everything you need to know about how I ship.
Processing Times
Because most of my knives are custom, handmade pieces, processing times vary depending on the complexity of your order and my current workload. If you'd like an estimate before placing your order, please don't hesitate to reach out — I'm always happy to chat about timelines.
For accessories and in-stock items, orders are typically packed and dispatched within 2–5 business days.
Pre-Order Items
Some products are available as pre-orders. Estimated timelines are listed on each product page, but please keep in mind these are guides rather than guarantees — good things take time! I'll keep you updated along the way.

**Domestic Shipping (Australia)**
I offer two shipping options within Australia:
- **Standard Shipping** – $15.00 AUD
- **Express Shipping** – $25.00 AUD *(includes tracking)*
Express orders include tracking so you can follow your knife on its journey to you.

**International Shipping**
I ship worldwide where permitted! International orders are sent via a flat rate of:
- **Standard International** – $30.00 AUD
Please note that international shipping times vary by destination and are outside my control once your order leaves Australia.
**⚠️ Important – Country Restrictions on Knives**
Knife laws vary significantly around the world, and it is your responsibility as the buyer to ensure that importing a knife is legal in your country before placing an order. Some countries with known restrictions or outright bans on certain knife types include:
- **United Kingdom** – Strict laws on blade length and knife type; many fixed-blade and folding knives are prohibited from import.
- **Canada** – Prohibited weapons laws apply to certain knife styles (e.g. automatic/switchblade knives).
- **Germany** – Restrictions on one-handed opening knives and certain blade lengths.
- **Japan** – Very strict knife import laws; most fixed-blade knives require special permits.
- **Brazil, India, and others** – Various restrictions apply depending on blade type and length.
I strongly recommend checking your local customs and import laws before ordering. If an order is seized or returned by customs due to local restrictions, I am unable to offer a refund on shipping costs.
**Customs, Duties & Import Taxes**
International customers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes charged by their country. These charges are not included in your order total and are determined by your local customs authority.
